Over the past 20 years, R.J. Stronach has planted several million trees covering hundreds of hectares throughout Scotland
using mechanised tree planters including broadleaves, softwood and Christmas trees.
Automated chemical "spot spraying" around only the trees planted minimises herbicide usage and therefore environmental
impact. Up to 20,000 trees a day can be planted in this way. Hand planting of broadleaves with protective tubes, stakes and
chemical weeding is also available.
